Essential Functions:
This is a TCI job located at TCI Works at 1250 Atlantic Ave. Rocky Mount, NC
General Duties
Receive referrals, conduct initial interviews, and develop service plans; coordinate with all other provider agencies including EIPD and Local Management Entity/Managed Care Organization (LME/MCO) who will be involved in the employment process. Refer SWITCIE participation for benefits counseling to ensure how individual’s benefits will be impacted by competitive integrated employment;
develop opportunities supported internships for SWITCIE participants to provide them
experimental opportunities to make an informed choice regarding CIE,
assesses client’s vocational function and interests on an ongoing basis using background information, discovery observation, and work experience.
Conducts job development and job search activities directed toward positions that are
individualized to the interests and uniqueness of the individual.
Provides training and retention services to ensure client success and employer satisfaction.
Explores with the employer, client, and other community resources available alternatives for addressing client barriers and focusing on job retention.
Mediates or problem-solving client/employer issues.
Participates in weekly team meetings with relevant stakeholders to assess progress, facilitate transitions and troubleshoots barriers.
Maintain case files in timely manner.
Write detailed case notes.
Tracks program/grant required statistics and summarize in report form.
Requirements
High School Diploma; bachelor’s degree in human services preferred
Two years experience in the field of disability services
possess critical thinking, problem-solving and solution focused ability to ensure SWITCIE participants.
Valid driver’s license and current car insurance coverage and clean driving record
No prior felony convictions.

Type of Position
This is a regular-salaried, full-time, non-exempt position. This position reports directly to the SPARK Navigator
Salary: $50,000/annually
Hours: 36 per Week (Monday – Thursday)
Friday – Sunday (varies – as needed)
