TCI RMEP SHIFT SUPERVISOR

Position Location:

Essential Functions:

1)     Supervise employees in an operation where spray lubricant is put on completed engine blocks using a standard garden sprayer.

2)     Place completed/lubricated engine blocks on pallet and wrap as instructed by RMEP.

3)   Coordinate coverage for any employee who is absent.

4)   Move materials (using RMEP's forklift) in/out of work area.

5)   Conduct quality checks on completed work and assure safety in assigned area.

6)     Train assigned employees in proper procedures including RMEP's general safety/operating rules/regulations.

7)     Conduct weekly safety talks

8)     Install air bags and ratchet straps as instructed.

9)     Scan all blocks and heads prior to loading as instructed and complete necessary signoffs.

10)  Supervise block inspectors in regards to time and attendance.

11)  Unload and put away all packing material as received from OIC.

12)  Call in and fax all orders for wooden skids.

13)  Ensure storage areas for all material is kept open for designated material.

1)     Meet work deadlines and performance/productivity quotas/requirements on schedule.

2)   Work cooperatively with staff, clients and personnel from other agencies/companies.

3)     Set a good personal example and serves as a positive role model for clients.

4)   Follow all agency administrative and personnel policies/procedures and work rules.

5)     Assist/perform other duties or special projects/assignments as requested.

6)     Maintain clean and safe work environment

7)     Follow all quality standards/procedures

Requirements

High school graduate/equivalent with a minimum of 1-3 years related work experience in a production/industrial environment. Must have reliable transportation during the work shift and must have current/verifiable recent forklift license; operate overhead hoist and pass CDC required physical exam and drug screen. No prior felony convictions

Specific vision abilities include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, field of vision and color vision.
